-VERSES.

"ALPHA"
MAIN VERSE
A fugitive of both national and international law, on several shady organisations' shit lists, and trying to snuff out an enemy he knows neither the name nor the nature of. Jesper is chained to a dead man's orders, with nobody to tell him to stand down.
"GAMMA"
GOOD ENDING
Jesper lives in Scotland with his husband, his dog, his ducks, and their kids. His past still inserts itself where it's not welcome, and he doesn't yet quite know what it means to be a person — but he's come far, and he intends to go much further still.

HAVIK
ORIGIN/PAST
Pieter Gravesen's brainless attack dog. Even though he's impossible to build rapport with, and better described as a feral animal than a human being, it's clear that the kid's being controlled by something — and in a situation that no "person" deserves to be in.
WC-068-B
PROPERTY OF THE LABS
Kei verse. An escaped pet project, "B" is, on first impressions, a gentle alien, quiet and eager to please. But he's one that might be generously referred to as a problem dog, unpredictably violent — but he doesn't mean it. He just wants to go home.

DRONE
SUPER...HERO???
The League of so-called superheroes took his life, and he would quite like it back. Operating outside of their legal bounds, however, he's made himself public enemy number one, and he knows that all the anger in the world won't win this fight for him.
KING JESPER OF DUINH
HIGH FANTASY
A cursed immortal, forced onto the throne, the bloodthirsty scourge of Caelon. He has waged war for centuries with no apparent goal, marching into battle as though serving some hidden, ravenous god. He claims his actions were his own, of his own will.

BUTCHER
BRAIN FULL OF BEES
Infected with a space rabies hivemind, but at least he got magic radiation powers for his trouble. Beamed back to Earth to feed the Hive in the way he's best at: indiscriminate killing. But that's not going to stop him having a little fun while he's at it.
LICH
FOR REAL THIS TIME
There is something living on the outskirts of the village, though nobody knows how long it's been there. It keeps to itself, in its ruins, with its books, but something that powerful must have a reason to be feared, and there must be something it wants.

WARDEN OF STRAYS
GOD OF THE LONELY
Oversees rebirth, and loves the unloved; anything abandoned, especially in its final moments, is held under the Warden's wing. Offerings of food and flowers are left around the bodies of street cats, to send them safely on their way. He will see to it.
"SIGMA"
BIG BAD ROBOT GUY
Flesh will only hold you back. Following a particularly harrowing death (and with the help of an android from the distant future) Jesper sheds his humanity, and most of his flesh, once and for all — and with it, the few scraps of morality he'd had left.

A HUT IN HEBRA
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA
Monsters took everything he had, but he knows stories like his are a dime a dozen. Burying himself in his inventions, he hides out in the frozen mountains, unwelcoming to visitors, unwilling to get attached. (Usually set pre- or post-BOTW.)

MUTTON
STANDARD HAUNTED ROBOT
Mutton the Ram's lead mechanic was known to cut corners, leading to the death of a child. Covering his own ass, he silenced the only witness — and Mutton promptly silenced him. Now, all three of them are in the sheep, and the sheep isn't normal about it.
DGR-01
WORST BABYSITTER EVER
What happens to the weapons when there is no war? DRAUGR was a prototype killing machine, the first off the line. When there was no use for him, he was cheaply retrofitted with nanny software and hired out. This was a very stupid idea. Don't do this.
